Night Stay: Kaziranga
Route Distance: 200 km

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, prepare for an exciting drive to Kaziranga, the famed wildlife sanctuary of Assam.

Enroute, stop at various viewpoints where you might catch glimpses of wildlife roaming freely.

Once you reach Kaziranga, check into your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening, soaking in the serene jungle surroundings.

Start your day at 5:30 AM with an Elephant Safari into Kaziranga National Park.

This early hour is ideal for spotting the one-horned rhinoceros and other wildlife.

Return to the resort for breakfast.

After lunch and rest, at 2:30 PM head out for a Jeep Safari through the park.

Look out for elephants, tigers and various bird species.

Return around 5:30 PM, enjoy dinner and relax at the resort.

Depart from Kaziranga and visit the Orchid Garden, with its collection of exotic flowers.

Visit a nearby tea estate, learn about the tea-making process and enjoy a refreshing cup of tea.

Continue to Kakochang Waterfalls, surrounded by verdant hills.

Drive onwards to Shillong through the picturesque landscapes of Meghalaya, known as the “Scotland of the East.”

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunji.

Visit Elephant Falls, followed by Wah-Kaba Falls.
