Arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and begin your scenic journey towards Shillong. En route, visit Umiam Lake and enjoy the surrounding landscapes.

On arrival in Shillong, check in to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure or explore the lively Police Bazar before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

After breakfast, proceed towards Cherrapunji. Visit Elephant Falls, Wah-Kaba Falls, Arwah Cave, NohKaLikai Falls and Dainthlen Falls before arriving in Cherrapunji.

Option 1 – Natural Wonders

Explore Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Monoliths, Mawsmai Nongthymmai Eco Park, Nohsngithiang Falls / Seven Sisters Falls, Thangkharang Park, Khoh Ramhah and Kynrem Falls.

Option 2 – Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek

Travel to Tyrna village for the moderate Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek. The trek takes approximately 3–4 hours. Rainbow Falls can also be visited as an optional extension.

Sturdy hiking shoes, water, snacks and rain gear are recommended. A local guide is also suggested.

Overnight: Shillong

After breakfast, travel towards Mawlynnong and Dawki. Visit Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point, Mawlynnong and Dawki, followed by the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River.

Continue to another Living Root Bridge and visit Krang Suri Falls or Phe Phe Falls before returning to Shillong.
